Lynchburg's oldest Episcopal parish, established in 1822. The present Richardsonian Romanesque church at Fifth and Clay was begun in 1891 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register. Sunday services are at 8:00 a.m. (spoken Holy Eucharist, Rite I) and 10:00 a.m. (Holy Eucharist with choir), and the parish hosts concerts and community events downtown.
