Join us on the 4th of July for the 16th annual Percival's Island Firecracker 5-Miler!
Race #5 of the Lynchburg Road Runners Race Series. Lynchburg is known as the “Hill City”….but this course is flat, flat, flat. The start finish is located at the Blackwater Creek Natural Area Percival’s Island in downtown Lynchburg and the course follows the Blackwater Creek Bikeway…a paved rails to trails path along the James River. A bit longer than a 5k but without the effort of a 10k, 5 miles is considered by many the perfect distance.
