Riverviews Artspace has been selected by Ovation TV to be featured in a new TV Series called Art in the Heartland.
We have been selected for our innovative programs and workshops but also our creative collaborations with schools and other organizations.
Ovation TV will be filming this Friday and Saturday to document our thriving environment.
This means we have two days to capture the essence of Riverviews and our community – join us! Here’s your opportunity to share with our entire nation why Riverviews Artspace is special to you!
Below is the schedule of FREE WORKSHOPS & EVENTS (bring your kids!) for Friday and Saturday, come and show your support, visit the exhibits or take part in workshops.
Friday Schedule: 11/09
3pm-4pm:
General Filming, set up.
4pm-5pm:
ArtThrive Class accounting for artists Studio 108.
Alumni, please join. If you are an artist and would like to learn about the
business part of the arts, you are welcome to join. Limited to 10.
5pm-6:30pm:
General filming of the gallery, co-op gallery and in-house studio artists,
Digital Media Lab, Movie Theater and throughout.
Saturday Schedule: 11/10
Noon-6 pm:
Gallery and Co-Op Gallery filming (National Exhibit and Gallery B-roll),
artists, visitors, patrons shopping at co-op gallery.
12pm-12:45pm:
Gallery and Co-Op Gallery filming. Interviews with patrons and co-op artists.
1pm-1:30pm:
Kid’s activities at the gallery:
Curated art exhibit and talk for kids of the juried art
show (ages 8-12) - parents are welcome.
1:45pm-3pm:
Kids create their own art – Art will be framed, curated, and exhibited.
3pm-4:30pm:
Opening of kids exhibit – Reception with cookies and drinks for
kids and parents. Interviews with kids and parents.
4:30pm-6pm:
Shoot any remaining B-roll or interviews
