Renaissance Theatre will hold open auditions for the classic, poignant play,
Driving Miss Daisy. Role Requirements for 3 available roles:
1 Female role (Daisy) able to play an elderly woman in her late 60’s- early 70’s
1 Male role (Hoke) MUST be an African American able to play an older-middle age man (mid – late 60’s)
1 Male role (Boolie – Daisy’s son) able to play a middle-aged man (late 40’s - early 50’s
Audition dates/times: Sunday, February 17 & Monday, February 18 at 7 pm
Auditions to be held at Renaissance Theatre – 1022 Commerce Street, Lynchburg
Playdates: April 19, 20, 26, 27, 28, May 2, 3, 4
*This play expands over a 25- year period. We need persons interested in working with costumes, make-up and backstage as well.
