Independence Jam at Riverfront Park — July 3 — Food trucks, drinks, and live music along the river, leading up to Downtown Lynchburg’s annual fireworks display at 9 PM. Presented by title sponsor BWXT, with partner sponsors Genworth, the City of Lynchburg, and Renewal by Andersen.
City View Freedom Fest (21+) — July 3, 6 PM through fireworks — Food, drinks, games, live music, and incredible views. Tickets at cityviewvenues.com.

DISH Cookout Night — July 3, 5–9:30 PM — Burgers, hot dogs, ribs, and coleslaw, plus live music from The Whiskey Shakes from 7–11 PM.
Super Rad Arcade Bar — Live music after the fireworks at 10 PM with Super Sad. Tickets $12.
7 Rooftop Bar — Live music July 3 & 4, with festive food and cocktail specials all weekend. Reservations encouraged.
Trailhead — Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 3 at 6 PM. $10 entry, $250 grand prize.
William & Henry Steakhouse — July 2, 5–6:30 PM — Tequila & mezcal tasting paired with a featured taco trio.
Benny’s — $2.50 cheese pizza slices all day on July 4.
