The Downtown Lynchburg Association is excited to announce that applications are now open for the next Launch LYH program.
Launch LYH is designed to support entrepreneurs who are ready to start, relocate, or expand a business in Downtown Lynchburg. Selected participants complete the Launch LYH Participant Pathways & Milestones Program with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – Lynchburg Region. Upon successful completion of the program, participants have the opportunity to pitch their business concept for the chance to receive grant funding to assist with opening and growing a new downtown business.

Develop a comprehensive business plan
Present your business during the Launch LYH Pitch Competition
Opportunity to compete for grant funding
If you have a business idea that will contribute to the vibrancy of Downtown Lynchburg, we encourage you to apply.
Application deadline: August 11, 2026
Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Have participated in an SBDC training program — such as a previous Launch LYH cohort, CO.STARTERS, Startup Toolbox classes, or another SBDC-approved equivalent training program; or
Have been operating an existing business for at least 18 months.

A Track Record Downtown
