Ring in the holiday season at Downtown Lynchburg's Bright Nights Block Party on Sunday, November 24, from 5-9 PM! This can't-miss event has something for everyone, featuring a jam-packed lineup of festive fun. Stroll through Super Rad’s Arcade Alley, glide across Amazement Square’s Sock Skating Rink, and marvel at the Craddock Terry Tree Lighting (7 PM). Snap photos with Santa and enjoy the sounds of live Carolers while taking a ride on the magical “Reindeer” Carousel.
Sip seasonal brews at one of two Beergardens (thanks to Starr Hill on Main & Three Roads Brewing), savor delicious eats in the Food Truck Zone, and explore unique treasures from 60+ Artisan Vendors. Kids will love Face Painting, the interactive Academy Art Bus, and plenty of large-scale photo ops along the way! Plus, don’t miss the exciting Live Stage Entertainment that will keep the holiday spirit soaring all evening long. Bring your family, friends, and festive vibes to this free event and kick off the season in style!
This event officially kicks off our Bright Nights on the Bluffwalk winter attraction, where we transform the Bluffwalk into an enchanting holiday spectacle full of dazzling lights, large-scale installations, and more.

EVENT PARKING & SHUTTLES
GLTC will be providing shuttle service from 4:30-9:30 PM from the following locations:
Clay Street Parking Lot
Corner of Court Street/5th Street
Uptown Deck on Main Street
Corner of Main Street/10th Street
Corner of Main Street/12th Street
Temporary Street and Lot Closures for Bright Nights Block Party
Street Closures:
Commerce Street (between 10th Street and Main Street) will be closed from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Portions of 11th, 12th, and 13th Streets will also be closed during this time.
Towing will be enforced in all restricted areas.
Parking Lot Closures:
The 12th Street Parking Lot and Crossroads Parking Lot will be inaccessible from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sunday.
Towing will be enforced in these lots during the closure.
Parking:
No parking will be permitted in the affected streets or lots from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
All other public parking lots and on-street parking will remain open and free of charge.

Main Street:
Main Street will be open for one-way traffic (westbound from the expressway) for the event.
