Launch LYH is a grant program that aims to decrease storefront vacancy in Downtown Lynchburg by providing current and potential entrepreneurs the capital they need to start up or expand their footprint. Selected applicants will go through an eight-week education course that will culminate in a pitch competition. Winners will receive grants of various amounts from a pool of $90,000 to go toward start-up costs for their downtown business. Not only will this program foster a stronger small business community, but it will also add amenities to the downtown landscape.
