Fall is just around the corner, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with Books & Brews! Join us in partnership with the Lynchburg Public Library on Sunday, October 19, from 2-6 PM outside the Lynchburg Community Market for an afternoon filled with local literature and craft beer for a unique community event in the heart of the city. Attendees can discover books by regional authors while enjoying brews from local craft breweries, alongside vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
Books & Brews is hosted by Downtown Lynchburg Association and Lynchburg Public Library and is possible thanks to support from our sponsors Scott Insurance, Lynchburg Community Market, The Office of Economic Development and Tourism, and the City of Lynchburg.

Q: When and where is the event?
A: Books & Brews is on Sunday, October 19, at 1219 Main Street (Lynchburg Community Market) from 2pm to 6pm.

A: No, the event is free! Bring cash/card to shop with vendors and purchase food or drinks.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The event is rain or shine. In case of severe weather, updates will be posted on our website and social media.
Q: What breweries will be there?
A: Starr Hill on Main and Three Roads Brewing Co. will have beer for purchase.
Q: Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
A: You’ll need beer tickets, which can be purchased at the event. There will be separate lines for buying tickets and exchanging them for beer.
Q: Will there be non-alcoholic drinks?
A: Yes! A variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available from our vendors.
Q: What food options will be available?
A: A mix of food trucks and vendors offering everything from snacks to full meals.
Q: Will there be live music?
A: Yes! Enjoy live performances from a local musician throughout the event.
