A journey that began with 2 tons of Zinfandel grapes came to a close when Maverick Winemaker, Dave Phinney, sold his brand containing the famous Prisoner Zinfandel and resulted in an 8-year non-compete to not produce Zinfandel. The 8-year hiatus is over, and we have his newest allocation of "8 Years in the Desert" Zinfandel.
