Support HumanKind by going Over The Edge! Enjoy an amazing view of downtown Lynchburg and the James River from the rooftop of the Bank of the James building before rappelling 120-feet down the side of the building in this experience of a lifetime! We invite you to take your fundraising to new heights as you rappel and raise awareness for the thousands of children and families we serve across Virginia. You may even choose to fundraise for a specific HumanKind program!
WHO CAN BE AN EDGER?
There is no minimum or maximum age to be an Edger. Participants must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds. All individuals under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian. Edgers may also go over in wheelchairs or even wear costumes!
All participants must raise a minimum $1,000 for HumanKind by rappel day.

You can also come out and join the View Party on the 8th floor at Terrace View by the James for food, fun, and rappel watching on Friday, September 13. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Over The Edge is an international company that sends participants down the side of a building as a fundraiser for nonprofits. HumanKind is the first nonprofit in Lynchburg to offer such an event.
